2022 OSRS Construction Guide
Construction is an art of extremes. It’s easy and simple to advance. But it’s also costly to train and arguably the most expensive talent on the field. If you don’t save the Construction training for later and you’ll need to rest during training Construction because you can’t afford to continue. It’s not worth training if it means bankrupting yourself and ruining all the other areas of your skill. To achieve peak efficiency as well, you’ll need to know exactly where to click and establish a routine for higher-level training techniques. This is Runescape where we don’t waste time here. Unless you keep this Construction grind for the end and you’ll need to take breaks through training Construction because you can’t afford to carry on. Training isn’t worth it if it means bankrupting yourself and losing every other aspect of your training.
Do you think it’s worth it in the end? Absolutely. A fully-equipped, player-owned home is the most useful tool in the entire game of OSRS. And a Construction cape may be considered the most efficient cape in the game until you reach an Max cape. We’ll start with the OSRS Construction Guide starting at 1-99.
Levels 1-8 Levels 1-8
Daddy’s Home is a miniquest Jagex added to the game alongside the Mahogany Homes minigame. When you complete this miniquest, it will give you 944 Construction points (400 by completing the miniquest, and 544 for tasks completed during this quest). Daddy’s Home rewards you with an POH if you don’t already have one , and Marlo’s crate.
The crate of Marlo’s contains a tiny selection of Construction equipment including five home tablet that teleport. For those who are Iron Man, this is the ideal way to begin to get started on Construction grind.
Certain quests also give Construction exp however they’re not enough to be worth the effort for just that reason. If you’ve done them, excellent, however if not, don’t worry about it. Construction exp is a fast-moving process. More quickly than it would take to finish these tasks.
Levels 1-4: Crude Wooden Chair
Before you get started on your Construction project, obtain a POH from any of the Estate agents located in Falador, Varrock, East Ardougne, Seers’ Village, Hosidius, or Prifddinas. Find a hammer, saw as well as some nails (At at a minimum, steel) and some regular or oak planks. Make sure to turn on building mode. From 1-4 Construction, construct five crude wooden chairs in your parlor using normal planks and nails made of steel.
Levels 4-9/8-9: Wooden Bookcase
Beginning at level 4, build seven bookcases made of wood in your room until you reach Level 9 Construction. If you’ve finished Daddy’s Home and are level 8, you can make four bookcases instead. They are built with regular planks and steel nails as well.
Levels 9-15: Wooden Larder
Head for the kitchen of your POH and construct seven wooden larders from planks and nails made of steel to get to level 15 Construction. Then, you can put away the nails. There’s no need for them anymore.
Level 15-16: Repair Bench
This is an easy one. Make your way to your workshop, and construct three repair benches out of oak planks. Don’t quit the workshop just now, however.
Levels 16-22 The Crafting Table 1
Still using the oak planks, build crafting table 1s until you reach the level 22 Construction.
21-31st Level: Oak Dining Table
Step into the dining room and construct 39 tables until they reach the level of 31 Construction.
The Levels 31, 33 and 34: Carved Oak Table
Make 10 tables of carved wood in order to reach the 33rd level of construction.
After that, you’ve completed the first step of the grind for construction. From now , the level grinds will be much longer and require no switch of built-in objects to train on.
Levels 33-52/33-73/74: Oak Larders
At this point, you have a decision to make. Do you prefer the highest construction exp/hour for the price of your bank or do you want a lower exp, which will significantly cut down on cost (But it will cost you a fortune)? If you’re looking for exp make oak larders for the kitchen until you get to the level 52 Construction. You’ll need to construct 220 oak larders to get this done.
If you’d like to have a break from the Construction grind, now is a good opportunity to do so. 52 Construction is decent and beats all requirements for the Construction level, except for one. This will set the player back around 900K-1 million GP.
If you’ve decided you want in order to keep some GP, build oak larders until the level of 74 Construction. It is necessary to build 10 times the amount of oak larders compared to if you stopped at level 52. This is 2,246, to be exact. When you’re at level 40 Construction, stop the grind and move into East Ardougne. Recruit the human butler at the Servants Guild. You’ll need a spare bedroom with a bed for a butler to be in your home.
You can contact him to complete duties for you. However, you’ll be using his services to collect your planks from the bank. Make a bell pull inside your dining area so that you can call him straight to you.
You can also engage workers at lower levels of construction, but they aren’t worth the effort or GP. Each employee is given a certain time frame to finish their task and return to you. The butler and the Demon Butlers are the sole ones that are worth hiring. Once you’ve reached the 50th Construction, fire your butler and hire his demon-like butler. He’ll be your butler for the rest of the journey. You’ll require millions of GP in order to make use of butlers, but that’s okay.
Levels 52-77/52-1999 Mahogany Tables
While your player is at work in the kitchen preparing for Construction, I hope you’ve grabbed some water and snacks out of your refrigerator. You’re going to stay for a while.
From level 52, you’ll need to construct 15,370 mahogany tables before you can reach 99 Construction. How long the grind will take will depend on the efficiency of your character. Your character should be placed on the northwest frontside of the space. The table’s middle space should be located just to the left of the bottom of your toolbar. You should be able to right-click to select build space without moving your mouse further.
Once you see the Menu for Furniture Creation comes up Click 6 to construct the mahogany table. If the mouse cursor remains at the same spot it is best to left-click. You are now at the remove mahogany table option. Then pressing 1, you will be able to confirm that the mahogany table is removed. Rinse it and repeat for all the remaining grinding.
Use your demon butler to replenish your inventory mahogany planks of 26. Once you have reached level 58 Construction, build a moneybag for your servants in the corner space of the bedroom of your servant. It can be filled with up to 3 milliliters GP which means that your servant won’t ask for GP to finish tasks. Three mil is approximately 1.4 millimeters GP short of the grind to 99, so you will need to replenish it only at least once.
I would suggest that you tell your demon butler that you’ll need to get some planks after your inventory is half-full. The demon’s butler requires 7 seconds to complete the journey.
When the demon butler returns the inventory of yours should be down to 25%. Contact him to get as many planks as you can from him. Once you’re back down to 25% inventory, get the remaining planks from him, then give him the bank once more. This is the procedure.
You could earn 9000K Construction exposure per hour if you’re proficient. If you’re not a pro at the training loop, exp rates will be around 700-750K/hour. Expect to spend around 177 million GP.
One method of training gives more Construction experience as compared to mahogany tables. To start it you’ll need the construction of 77. Between 52 and 77, you’ll have to construct 1,610 mahogany tables. It’s about 18.5 millimeters.
Levels 77-99: Gnome Benches
If you’re as tough as you can get and are dedicated to the most effective method of earning money per hour Gnome benches are for you. Construct an Superior Garden and stand between the two benches. Then, you can move between the two spaces building benches for gnomes. If working efficiently you could earn 1.1 million Construction exp per hour.
Gnome’s bench grinding is one major issue. It’s extremely click-intensive. Much more so than tables made of mahogany. If you aren’t efficient, the exp rates will likely be higher than those of mahogany tables. I prefer mahogany tables myself If you’ve got the ability do not hesitate to apply this method. It’s the best option alternative, after all. Between levels 77 and 99 Construction, your bank will be about 15 millions GP lighter.
Levels 74-99: Oak Dungeon Doors
Don’t worry, cheap Construction grinders, I’ve never lost sight of you. I understand the desire for a way to conserve some GP. After reaching the level of 74 Construction from oak larders, head for the Dungeon.
Set yourself up in front of and on the left side of the dungeon door space. Make your demon butler come down here. Move your mouse cursor to the same position that you would be if you were learning via mahogany tables; towards on the left side of toolbar’s bottom. If you follow this procedure correctly, you won’t ever have to move your mouse. Right-click and select build door, and then press one on your keyboard to create an oak dungeon entrance. Once you’ve built your first door, instruct your butlers to get 20 wood planks that were in the bank. The first door must be removed, then construct the second door.
This is the time to STOP.
Why? Your demon butler will return only if there’s a door to the dungeon that’s been built. If it’s just the building space, he won’t show up. After your butler has returned take your planks back, and then take the second door off and then repeat the procedure. You must build 19,897 oak dungeon doors to reach 99 Construction.
At peak efficiency, EXP rates with this method are set to about 500K EXP/hour. Most players will see an average of 350 to 400K exp per hour. That’s a significant dropoff from mahogany tables and benches made of gnomes, but using this method will save the player approximately 85 million GP.
The Construction Industry is Gritty but Good in A Nutshell
All there is to Construction training, ladies , and gentlemen. If you’ve got the money, it’s one of the fastest skills in OSRS to max out. However, getting that amount of money even with the oak dungeon entrance method is still going to take the majority of players a long time.
But I’m here to tell youthat you will never regret it. There are dozens of valuable things you can make at the highest levels of construction. I’m talking about an inside-the-house fairy tree or ring. Occult altars for switching between the spellbooks of the game. Rejuvenation pools can treat poison/venom and completely restore your stats. Everything you are able to do in OSRS can be made much simpler with the decked-out POH.
Also, add to your GP and help make Bob The Builder feel proud.
